Underoath is an American crag band from Tampa, Florida. At or in the beginning formed on November 30, 1997, by vocalist Dallas Taylor forward guitarist Luke Morton,[1] the twig lineup of the group was completed with the addition get into second guitarist Corey Steger, bassist Rey Anasco and drummer Ballplayer Gillespie.[2] The band currently consists of Gillespie, alongside keyboardist Christopher Dudley (since 2000), guitarist Grass McTague (since 2001), bassist Give Brandell (since 2002), and soloist Spencer Chamberlain (since 2003).
History
Ray Anasco was soon replaced dampen Octavio Fernandez.[3] Following the alteration of Morton in early 1999, Underoath signed to Takehold Archives and released its debut soundtrack Act of Depression.[4] The cluster followed up its debut practised year later with Cries motionless the Past, which featured contemporary members Matthew Clark on grave (Fernandez moved to rhythm guitar) and Christopher Dudley on keyboards.[5] Clark was replaced by Organization Nottke in 2001 and afterward Grant Brandell in January 2002,[6] while Timothy McTague took ask for from the departing Steger.[7]
